KPOP IDOLS GROUP WITH THE WORST COMEBACK TIME

Every agency tried to plan their group comeback for a long time to avoid similar come back date with other strong competitor, especially for their new debuted group. Here are several artist/group that has the worst comeback time. This because the come back could be irregular (long hiatus), or always the same date / near with other kpop idols group come back who has already a huge name and large fandom (high competition). We know only bigger agency has the advantage to plan their comeback date so the rookies /not yet popular group can survive against the already established dominating group. Because bigger agency have already several group on their management and they will manage each comeback to be in different time.

For other agency, sometimes there is this idols group/singer that always debut in wrong time, that if they made comeback in less competitive time, they will win #1 for sure and bring home the musical program trophy. Do you think their agency don't know or that other agency don't want other group become too big so they put their high rooster against the new debuted group from smaller agency?  You know, Sometimes the music industry might be as shady as this.

For my opinion, BTS has survived this "black campaign", because if we look back, before BTS became this BIG, they always have the same come back date with other big 3 group or digital monster, like Twice, and so on.

The other Kpop group who might have bad comeback date, is probably Vixx for boy group, mamamoo for girl group and bbolbagan4 for indie singer/not idols category.

Mamamoo comeback is worsen after Um oh ah yeah era.

UOAY era competitor: exo,sistar
You are the best competitors: taemin, taeyeon, lee hi, exo cbx, winner, red velvet
Decalcomanie era: twice, psy, bigbang, exo cbx
Their next comeback: g dragon, exo

Do you get it? Big 3 agency senior/popular group always comeback at their comeback date.

Bbolbagan4.... Well you can check yourself.. but having no win for their successful song like galayxy or tell me you love me or hard to love say a lot.

Some special mention is including f(x) on NuABo era, They're against the senior, between 2PM and Suju. Another girl group with bad come back time is Lovelyz. They always comeback with TWICE.That's not a good  moved from the agency, because they need to win in any major music shows. Comeback with TWICE is a bad idea.

From boy group we have Cnblue, they used to comeback the same time as snsd. Even the vocalist, Jung Yonghwa has complained about this before on a variety show. He said that his group, CN Blue, might win a trophy if they didn't come back at the same time as SNSD, who is a legendary KPOP group and the top of the list at their prime time. Well, another boy group from JYP, 2AM, also got cockblocked by SNSD so many times in 2009-2010 era.

Favorite Groups
Throughout the census there have been two groups fighting neck and neck for the top spot of r/kpop’s favorite group. And, for the first time, we welcome TWICE to the top of the throne! They were voted by 36.4% of our subreddits users. They just narrowly beat Red Velvet, which were voted by 35.8%. Only 46 votes differentiated these two groups. (The mods may have been taking bets on this in the final days of the census. . .)

MOST UNFORGETTABLE DISBANDED SONG FOR LEGENDARY GROUP

Kpop or being an idol is a short-career where popularity often last less than 10 years. It will bound to a disbandment and fans needs to embrace the farewell. Honestly, it's a fortunate thing when a group get to release their last song before their disbandment, instead when all members were going to parted way without preparation and just because of contract expiration. At least with a good, farewell song, it let the fans who has been loyal to them, get some closure and memories to cherish and feel nostalgic. Here are 6 legendary disbanded songs you should listen to:

1. Snsd / girls’ generation Divine (farewell for OT9)

2.Wanna one spring breeze

3. 2ne1 goodbye
4. Ioi down pour
5. Wonder girl draw me
6. Jbj call your name

What's your favorite disbandment song?

THE BEST LEADER FROM KPOP GIRL GROUP

Who is actually the best leader for kpop girl group? Well, it's pretty subjective, yet there is no wrong or right with this kind of choice. So here are several leader who I think can be a good leader to their respective group. Check it out!

1. AOA Jimin
Well oh well, AOA might be an underrated girl group who people only notice for their controversial sexy dance and seolhyun (as the face) or choa with her amazing vocal. Yet If I want to pick a good leader for AOA, it definitely will be Jimin. She is helpful to the member and quiet selfless for the dynamic of the group.

2. Gfriend Sowon
Our tallest leader, fashionable indeed. Sowon might look a bit stiff and awkward sometimes, but she is all Gfriend need as a leader. Sowon has shown a good leadership quality toward several Gfriend variety show.

3. Mamamoo Solar
She might become the face/visual of the group, although later Queen hwasa took the cake. The thing is, even she is often bullied by her members, we can see how much mamamoo members (hwasa, wheein and moonbyul) care their leader so much. Solar migh be their favorite target to be bully, but when solar is sick, the members really care for her and took after her. We know that Solar has done the same to her members, she is caring and responsible who often succumb to her teammate.

4. fx Victoria
By being the oldest with quiet a big age gap might help her to be a great fx leader. She can manage members younger than her and be responsible with the team.

5. Girls generation Taeyeon
Our eternal kid leader, kim taeyeon, might suit as her role as the leader of the legendary group SNSD. Although in some occasion that Taeyeon has said she is no longer a leader, well, a good leader doesn't need to say out lout that she is a leader, but all the members and fans will still think that she is indeed SNSD leader, forever. She might seem a bit lack as leader sometimes, yet we can deny that SNSD doesn't have any leader than our kid leader, Taeyeon.

6. Izone Eunbi
As the oldest one who is barely 25 years old, Eunbi could have stressed out to manage all the teenage members (younger generation) like Yujin, Yena or Wonyoung. Yet Eunbi has shown her capability as a good leader that every members of izone really obey her words, and somehow kinda scared if Eunbi is angry, lol. (Izone chu) Well, izone can be a lil bit tame only when eunbi is around.

7. Twice Jihyo
Jihyo is not only can sing well, but she is also a good leader for twice too. Her motherly figure really make all the members obey her words.

8. Soyeon from Gidle
She is hot and with charismatic attitude makes her a perfect candidate for leader. Many fans think that Soyeon is a great leader for Gidle.

The worst of YG Media play that is known by k netizen

Well it isn't a secret that many agency do media play to gain interest for their artists, especially if they're just debuted, from sajaegi and paid article, there are a lot of ways to generate more buzz so people might notice them. This practice might be done, not only by small agency, but big agency as well. The most common Media Playing By YG is Using Other Name (rival).
TOP 5 of the examples are:
1. Seven (YG) with BoA and Rain
•Yang Hyung Suk,"Se7en is comparable to Rain in the US market and BoA in the Japanese market." (17.04.2006)

•OSEN: Rain and Se7en-> Reasons for Being Rivals
"Rain, who drew attention with his monolids, tall height, muscular body and dance moves, also popularized sunglasses with his second album ."
"Unlike his sophisticated look, Se7en has been gathering attention for his dance skills and unseen singing ability." (14.11.2006)

2. Big Bang and TVXQ
Yang Hyun Suk, "Although it will be difficult to compete with TVXQ, Bigbang is the first teenager group debuted by YG and they are talented. Bigbang has reached 2 million views with documentary videos and been competing with TVXQ for the 1st and 2nd place in the most searched keywords." (22.08.2006)

•"He (Yang Hyun Suk) made a strong statement that Bigbang will surpass other groups including TVXQ." (03.03.2009)

•"Bigbang is still close to zero in overseas recognition, but they are at least close to TVXQ's popularity in Korea." (14.04.2009)

•"BIGBANG is the most successful Kpop group ever in Japan after TVXQ." (18.03.2016)
So Do you like or notice YG media play?

3. 2NE1 with Girls' generation (SNSD)
11.02.2014: SM, "Girls' Generation to comeback on February 19."
13.02.2014: YG, "2NE1 to comeback on February 24."

13.02.2014: YG "Girls' Generation and 2NE1 Comeback at the same time... A girl group war"
(YG then removed the tweet and the article from its official site YG-life)
14.02.2014: SM to postpone Girls' Generation comeback due to MV corruption (the album to be released on 24th, the same day as 2NE1's)

19.02.2014: YG to postpone 2NE1's comeback 3 days later (27th) to match CL's birthday (However, CL's birthday is on 26th)

4. Blackpink and BTS, Twice
• Blackpink "BTS, get out the way!" Simultaneous entry on the Billboard Main Chart (29.06.2018)

•"BTS and BLACKPINK have different methods to approach American Billboard. BTS usually uses SNS to interact with their fans. Other than the usual artists, BTS has interacted with their fans a lot. Their music also aimed to the sympathy of the same generation. They have a very stable connection to the fans and that's how the fandom grows stronger day by day. It can be said that their main basis is SNS.

28 LIST OF KPOP IDOLS who start to be Vlogger (VJ) or Youtuber for cash and fun

It isn't a secret anymore that when idols debut, they start with a huge debt, especially from smaller agency. And with how saturated the industry are currently, with an average 5 new groups debuted every month, it is not a surprise that many of ex- and current KPOP group members tried to do
1. Mad town H.O
After Mad town disbanded, he start to be a jockey of Afreeca Tv to get some cash. In one of his video, he revealed a not so shocking reality as KPOP idols.
Agencies charge the debuting group for everything from music production, video production, album production to clothing and dining costs. It costs a minimum 500 million KRW to produce a group. If there are seven members, each member would owe around $70,000 as soon as they debut. The members will start profiting only after the debt has been paid off.
Music programs on TV don’t pay much. That’s only for exposure. Outside performances, concerts, overseas stages, and album sales are what brings in money. But it is very hard to pay off $500K with those. If a group doesn’t become too popular, the members end up sitting on a pile of debt.
