Duchas adds Kilkenny's volumes to Schools Collection

The National Folklore Collection (NFC) has uploaded the Kilkenny schoolbook manuscripts to its online Schools Collection at dúchas.ie. Some 115 schools in the county took part in the project back in 1937 to 1939 when school children were asked to record folklore material gleaned from talking to their parents and elderly members of their communities.
